​​Located at the top of the hill, the Dearborn Homecoming Festival Arts District is proud to partner with local arts & cultural organizations to bring exciting demonstrations and free crafts to the festival.

Arts District Tent

Open from 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM each day of the festival, the Arts District Tent is home to the following activities:​

​

- Community Mural with the Padzieski Art Gallery

- Tambourine Making with the Detroit Institute of Arts

- Wings & Whirls: Paper Plane Design & Creative Pinwheel Activity with the Dearborn Public Schools

Paint Out in the Park

Paint Out in the Park returns to Dearborn Homecoming Festival in 2025! The competition, which is held all three days of the festival, features 50 talented artists creating original artwork live and in-person throughout the festival grounds.

 

Winners are chosen during a People's Choice voting period on Sunday, Aug. 3. Cash prizes are up for grabs, as well as the opportunity to have your artwork featured in an upcoming exhibition at the Padzieski Gallery!​​​

Festival attendees can vote for their favorite art piece to win the coveted People's Choice award! Judging will take place on Sunday, August 3 from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM in the Arts District.
